Step away from the everyday and join us for the first ever two-day Pickleball Leadership Invitational. This invitation-only tournament brings together a group of church leaders for a high-energy, relationship-driven experience centered around a little healthy competition.

Nestled between the pines at WinShape Retreat, this tournament will blend friendly pickleball competition with meaningful conversations, strategic networking, and intentional downtime. We are also honored to welcome special guest Gary Chapman, who will bring his renowned perspective on communication, relationships, and leadership to the tournament.

Tournament Details

Dates: October 1-2, 2026

Location: WinShape Retreat – Mt. Berry, Georgia

Cost: $199 per person
Includes all meals, lodging and programming. Taxes not included.

Please have every team member submit their own individual registration.
Spouses are welcome at no extra charge–please note this on your registration form.

Who is this tournament for?

A Church leader seeking deeper relationships, fresh perspective and a memorable shared experience with their peers
To participate in this tournament, you will need to bring a partner (a teammate, coworker, church member or volunteer from your church).

Who can compete in this tournament?

Teams must have at least one individual from church staff.
If you would like to attend but do not have a partner, we can pair you with a teammate upon arrival. Please note this in your registration.

Meet our Facilitator: Dr. Gary Chapman

Dr. Gary Chapman is a renowned author, speaker, and counselor known for his bestselling book, The 5 Love Languages, which has sold over 20 million copies in 50+ languages. With over 40 years of experience in family counseling and a long-standing pastoral role, Dr. Chapman brings biblical wisdom and practical insight to every message. He and his wife, Karolyn, have been married for more than 60 years and live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
